Excellent monitor! This is from a mother who is a sound sleeper and used to be able to sleep through anything. Besides my 'mommy radar' kicking in, this monitor is great. It helps me relax and know that I will hear my son wake up. It picks up sounds from the next room over it is that sensitive and the clarity is unbeliveable. It has an option for the monitor to only come on when a sound is made then it is activated which is nice and saves on batteries. From what I can tell, the best on the market and definetly worth the money!!Customer Review: Best Monitor

We just bought this monitor afer getting really tired of all the static and neighbors conversations that we kept hearing in the Fisher price monitor we had used since our baby was born. The day we plugged it in that was the first night we got some really peaceful sleep. The monitor is really quiet at the same time catches even the slightest sound. We are very happy with our purchase and this has reinforced our faith in Sony name.
Highly recommend it to anyone who is out looking for baby monitors.

I highly recommend buying this monitor. I originally had a hand-me-down monitor from my sister and I couldn't stand the static any longer! I reviewed the monitors on this website and trusted the other reviews and went out and bought this one. I now see why it has 5 stars! When I first turned it on I thought it wasn't working because I didn't hear anything, it is that quiet! I no longer have to bother my baby by going into his room to check on him because I can hear everything from this monitor! A+Customer Review: I LOVE THIS MONITOR!
