This screen protects the LCD and is sufficiently clear, but unfortunately it comes off very easily, with the slightest touch. Mine falls several times per shoot. It is not designed like the screen in the photo (no top clasp, only a bottom one and two at the sides). I can't even call them clasps because they don't clasp or snap on. I read previous reviews of this item and found that one described my situation exactly. Specifically, the other reviewer had great difficulty in keeping the cover attached. I had exactly the same problem so in short have discarded the cover and do not use it any more. Possibly the snap hinges that attach the cover to the camera could be a little stronger and may result in a successful cover.Customer Review: Nice Try

The concept was good, but the cover kept falling off from the LCD screen. We kept trying it for a week or two, and finally left it in a trash can in the park.

The LCD cover fell off my camera the first day I used it. Including postage this little plastic item cost $15. I felt taken. C'est la vie!
