These are the second-best NiMH batteries I've ever bought. The best are unquestionably Powerex as their charge outlasts all others, but they are much more expensive! So, you can buy many more of these for an equal amount of money. I've been using NiMH batteries for over ten years and it's the only way to go! The first ones I bought are still in use and perform the same today as they did ten years ago. I charge-discharge all my AA and AAA NiMH batteries in the MAHA MH-C401FS made by Powerex. This charger keeps them in pristine shape. I've used these batteries in kids toys, digital cameras, remote controls, flashlights, etc. all around the world and they have never let me down.Customer Review: Learn To Pack!

The batteries were good but the packing was very, very bad. Picture this......
11x14 bubblined envelope. 3-4 pack of AAA batteries loose in side. UPS them and what do you I only recieved 1 of the 3 packs because the weight of the others cut the edge of the envelope and probably made it to the home of a UPS employee. How dumb can someone be and pack batteries loosely in a bubble envelope?? The rest of the problem is too long to write about. Hey AMAZON, I know you don't have to be smart to be a shipper but let's at lease have some common sense.

Unlike Radio Shack Batteries Sony batteries always charges in the charger with a steady light. The result is you don't have to throw them out as defective. The Radio Shack batteries usually flash when I put them in my duracell charger indicating failability even though they might hold a partial charge.In certain situations when I needed a picture or the mp3 player stopped playing the cost/benifit of these batteries were outweighed by the Sony batteriesCustomer Review: Sony Rechargeable AAA 900 mAh NiMH Batteries

Rechargeable batteries are the only way to go on high draining devices. I use these in a eagle lamp that changes colors and those stick up lights under my kitchen cabinet. The charge last for days instead of a few hours then I just recharge in the Sony charger a few hours and pop them back in. They are great! Its worth the investment and saves having to buy batteries every few weeks.Customer Review: Exceptional charger.

This unit replaced an Energizer 15 minute charger that was killing batteries left a right. While this really isn't a 'quick' charger I have noticed far better battery life since using it. Using the calibration function I have even been able to resurrect some of the old batteries that I thought the Energizer had destroyed. From now on I am only buying Sony.
