This is an excellent little radio for pocket or can clip on belt, etc. Sony has improved the navigation buttons over their last similar radio to the point of being wonderful. I use this while working outside on our farm, and can practically change the band or station without looking. May lose the tv tuner in June but for now it's one more advantage. Without a doubt, it's worth the price.
The only thing I always change is to switch out the band type headphones to earbuds. Just more convenient for me.

I love this radio. The presets are perfect. The simple layout with big fat buttons is a breeze to operate even when fumbling in the dark (if you should have such an occasion). Great power and battery life on just 1 AAA battery. Swap the battery quickly when it's time for a new one and the radio retains all the presets in its memory. For the price, this is a perfect am/fm/tv sound radio. I use nice earbuds with this radio. I even plug in a small external speaker when I want to carry the radio around the house with me.Customer Review: Great little walkman

I am a walker and have used a walkman for a long time. My "old faithful" AM/FM tape walkman finally went to the great beyond and I needed a new one. (A diskman is too bulky for me when walking)
I read the reviews of this one and thought I would try it. It is so small and light and fits into my pocket. The reception is great and I enjoy both the radio and TV Bands. What fun listening to "Good Morning America" while I am on my morning walk.
I would highly recommend this product!!!

Excellent reception in AM and FM for the size radio and for what it's intended..for mobility. I like the key Lock feature that prevents accidental changing of the channel/power off. I was pleasantly surprised that a radio this small that uses only one AAA battery could perform so well. It even has a power bar to tell you when the battery is running low. This is small enough to put in your pocket if you like but also has a detachable belt clip.

Using this Sony Walkman as my travel radio after several years owning a comparable Sangeon (it died after a moderate fall) has brought me back to Sony products. Price was about 1/3 of a comparable Sangeon model; sensitivity and station selection is excellent; battery life is yet to be seen--I'm still on my first AAA battery. Some of the critiques about presets really don't apply when going cross country in a train, for example; anyway, does anyone really use 25 presets?
