I have had this radio for years. I'm completely happy with listening on any band with this radio. It has a recertion Quality that surprised me when tuning in distant stations.
I drive work vehicles to remote areas in Arizona. When a vehicle has no radio to play. This tiny portable has been perfect to carry in my Bag for a back up. I like the percise tuning. The single AAA battery can last me for a week of playing.
The best portable radio I have ever used.

I bought this to replace an older Sony Sports radio(the yellow one) which had just given out. After giving this little gem a good workout for several weeks, I'm ready to pronounce it a WINNER! I live in the Chicago area and get excellent reception on AM/FM/and TV local stations which I often listen to on long morning walks. The presets are plenty and easy to program. Looking for a reasonably priced well-constructed and versatile radio?-look no further.Customer Review: AWESOME!!

I bought this little radio a week ago to use at work and during exercise. It gets great reception and easily fits on your waistband. I love that there are so many presets, weather, and can even listen to local TV channels- great if you get sick of listening to babbling on the radio (I listen to the Today Show and Regis & Kelly).
It does seem to go through batteries quickly, but I use mine a lot. Besides it only takes one AAA battery.Customer Review: Back for another one

I have had this radio for quite a few years now and really like it. I use it to listen to Air America on the local AM radio station. My first one finally died.
I like the fact that you can "hold" the station and then throw it in your jeans pockets or shirt pocket and it will not go off of the chosen station.
It is nice to use when doing yardwork, etc. Lightweight and good enough sound for talk radio.

This is a very reliable and well designed radio. I purchased it as an identical replacement for a previous Walkman I had. The old one survived many years in daily commuter use until the tuner failed. The headphones needed to be replaced about every year. The only thing I don't like about the Walkman is the lack of a stereo/mono button. A mono button can reduce noisy FM reception. Other than that, I recommend this radio.
