Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sony Ultra Lightweight MDR-W08L Vertical In-The-Ear HeadphonesCustomer Review: My fav running headphones Summary: 5 Stars
The pair of these I have I think I bought in 1995, and they're still kicking. I bought those new spongy in ear headphones because they looked like a good idea, but when I'd get really running and sweating, the one in my left ear would start crackling from the seal and sweat. Yuck. Annoying. So, after those finally gave out I somehow re-located my old pair of these Sony's and after running in them this week I don't know why I ever quit wearing them. I thought they had stopped making them! Yay!
Customer Review: comfortable Summary: 5 Stars
I have been searching for comfortable in-the-ear headphones for months and I finally found these. In the past headphones have hurt my ears or slipped out when running, but these stay in and are very comfortable. The only problem was that when I ran on the treadmill and had them plugged into the headphone slot so I could hear the TV, I kept getting shocked in my ears and had to take them off. They were fine in my mp3 player, though. I think I just generate a lot of static electricity when running.
Customer Review: These headphones are just right! Summary: 5 Stars
I cannot wear ear buds, I can't wear the kind with ear hooks. I've been looking for this lightweight mini style in stores, but with no luck. My old pair from the 80's were getting pretty worn out, so I am glad to get the newer version. They adjust well and have good sound with my mp3 player. I have a very active job: crawling, climbing ladders, faux finishing ceilings and walls and painting murals, so I need a pair of headphones that will stay on all day. They are very light and comfortable.
Customer Review: Won't use anything else Summary: 5 Stars
I have had several pairs of these headphones over the years. I have small ears, so the earbud headphones hurt my ears and don't stay in. These fit perfectly, and they have great sound. The only complaint I have is that they are harder and harder to find as the ear buds become more popular. I hope Sony continues to make these. They don't last that long if you pull on them a lot, so I now keep them in a pencil pouch in my backpack so that they don't get caught on all my other stuff.
Customer Review: Long time User! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using the same style headphone for years since the SONY tape walkman...until I took on the Bose noise reduction "muffin" type for my traveling needs. I bought these for my friend when she was complaining the iphone/ipod buds kept falling out when she was training for her marathon. They were perfect and she said not once did she have a problem during her marathon run. And she loved that it also served as a headband for all her falling bangs during the run, too! :O)
