I bought a used bulb for my Sony Wega TV for $62. I thought it would be sub par... but I didn't mind since I didn't feel like spending over $100 on a new bulb. I also thought it was just the lamp itself. I got it in the mail, great packaging, and it was the whole assembly. All I had to do was pop it in my TV. This bulb makes my TV like new! This lamp came from a third party vendor named VANN'S. I got it on time with no issues. Installation was extremely simple. It literally took me longer to open the box than it did to replace the bulb. This product includes the entire assembly. If you're handy and want to save a few bucks, you may consider purchasing just the bulb and reusing the old assembly that is not affected when the bulb burns out. The Sony Replacement Lamp,
I wish I knew more about the Lamp before buying the housing etc, Cheaper to just replace the Lamp instead of purchasing the housing..If I had the expertise to install the lamp only that would save a lot of money!
I am pleased with the Lamp and hopefully I won't have to replace for another couple of years..a good product and expensive add on from Sony as a support product..

Very happy with product...Thankful to have my TV working again. The only complaint I may have is that the instuctions in the box said that an envelope was included in the box, so I could send the used bulb for safe recyling. There was not an envelope included in the box. Unfortunately, now I need to find out where I can take this bulb, so it can be recycled safely. well, i wasn't happy that the lamp was in need of replacement after only 4 years, but after seeing others feedback, it looks like mine lasted a lot longer than most. I must say, this was much cheaper on amazon than it was from sony's website. it was very easy to replace, much easier than I thought it would be. I would give it a 5 star based on this. I'll come back and edit if this thing doesn't last very long.
