Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sony XL210060 - Projection TV replacement lampCustomer Review: Sony Projection Replacement Bulb Summary: 5 Stars
I searched several web sites to purchase this bulb. Amazon was the cheapest. Recieved the product as described within the shipping time indicated. Bulb was new and has worked very well. I am an avid recycler and was surprised to see a return label included in the shipment. I wasn't sure if this was in case we had to return it because the return label had "reyccling" in the address. I went to the web site and was very impressed by the company's dedication to recycling efforts. I called to make sure and off the old bulb went. I will always buy from this company if they sell the product I am looking for!

Customer Review: Easy as pie! Summary: 5 Stars
At first I was a little scared to try and replace my lamp on my 55" LCD but after finding out how much a repair service wanted to charge me just to look at the tv, I quickly got braver. I got this withing 3 days of ordering the lamp and had it installed within 5 minutes. This was so simple I can't believe I was ever worried about doing it. The lamp came with instrucions and the wrench to unscrew the old lamp and tighten down the new one. My tv looks like brand new. The picture is so bright and vivid. I love it.
Morale of the story: DO NOT give your money to some repair service, do it yourself.
Customer Review: Original Sony Lamps Necessary Summary: 5 Stars
I went the cheap route the first time and bought a Phillips (not Sony) replacement lamp. Immediately I noticed that the TV picture wasn't as bright as it used to be. I contemplated buying an original Sony to see if there was a difference. After 3 months this Phillips lamp bit the dust! Now I bought a real Sony and the difference in brightness is REMARKABLE! Pay the few bucks more and buy a SONY lamp, the others suck! My original lamp lasted four years with nearly continuous use. My wife has the TV on whenever she is home, now that we're retired that is almost 24/7...
Customer Review: Exact Replacement for Original Lamp Summary: 5 Stars
This is an Osram P-VIP100-120/1.0 P22h lamp. It is the exact same manufacturer and model number as the original lamp in our Sony Wega television. That lamp lasted about six years. It is worth noting that the Osram lamps have an estimated life of 6,000 hours, while some of the other manufacturers claim 4,000 hours. It is also worth mentioning that Sony does not manufacture projection lamps, so don't expect to see the Sony logo on the product. You can buy a lamp directly from Sony for about $200, but you will not get a superior product for the additional cost.
Customer Review: Replacement for Sony KF-50WE610 Summary: 5 Stars
I wanted to wait for a few months before giving the product feedback. I bought this lamp in April for my KF-50WE610(Sony 50" LCD projection TV) and it worked perfectly for me. Since the price was lower than expected (it was 103.99 and 13$ shipping), I was concerned about an OEM part or bare bulb with no housing. But to my surprise it was the same brand of the bulb and with housing. Replacement was a breeze (of course I had to search youtube for install instructions) and the picture quality is the same. I am completely satisfied. Thanks.
